Organizing is only difficult if you don't start it at the beginning. I've learned from past experience that trying to compile all your information even half way through a project can be overwhelming. So my advice is to keep up with your work from the start.

November 8th

I believe we will be using the Research method. It describes the Research essay as needing good topics and sources to be successful. That's what we want to accomplish in this final essay, our goal is to use the information and research we gather to convince our readers that our stance on the topic is the right one.

Oct. 11 Blog

I found this article using the MTSU library database.

Schuler, Lou. "Secrets Of America's Best Gyms." Men's Health 16.6 (2001): 98. Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition. Web. 9 Oct. 2012.

In this article in Men’s Health magazine, Lou Schuler, who is a fitness journalist, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, and has authored many articles and a few books about exercise and nutrition, explains different locations where you can work out. He also gives several examples of various exercises someone could do. He goes in to detail about each exercise giving little room for someone to perform it wrong. I will use this in my research to tell people how to follow direction when performing an exercise or movement to minimize the chance of injury.

One of the most important things I've learned this semester is falling behind sucks. If there is one thing in particular that my English professor and other professors have tried to stress is the importance of asking for help. There's no excuses for falling behind in school. Professors for the most part are willing to help, that's what they're there for. My advice for other students is to stay on top of things and to reach out for help when they're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I'm skilled at golf. It took days of practice and coaching from my dad and golf coach. I started when I was 9, I'm 20 years old and I'm still developing it. It's extremely difficult. You never are in the same situation twice so you always have to be able to adapt while you are playing. When I first started playing golf it was something I played for fun with my dad. I still play for fun but there is more motivation from the competitive side of it.

Hello Everyone,

My name is John Herd. I'm a physical fitness major. I enjoy being outside, working out, spending time with friends and family, and helping others in need. I have recently started watching "The Big Bang Theory" on t.v. with my family. I think it's funny and I like how it uses intelegence to make the audience laugh. I started watching the show after my boss told me about it a couple of months ago. I watch it whenever I get a chance if I'm not busy with other stuff.

I'm not into researching or arguing. I've done a little bit of it in my last english class. We discussed gunut  control in our nation. Other then my history papers there is not to much research I've done for school.
